

Freda Kiser, 88, passed away on December 23, 2021, and went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was born and raised in Valliant, Oklahoma, the youngest of three daughters to Luther and Vera Stuart.
She was 17 years old when she married Jack Kiser on December 28, 1950. They would eventually relocate to Texas City, Texas, where they raised three children. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and homemaker. She was a longtime member of the Church of Christ, first at Seventh Street in Texas City, and then at First Colony in Sugar Land. She is remembered and loved by many for her sweet and encouraging nature.
She was affectionately known as Grandma Kiser to many youth and high school softball players and parents. She is survived by her husband of almost 71 years, Jack Kiser; children Bill Kiser, Elaine Green (husband Barry), and Keith Kiser (wife Karen); grandchildren Travis Kiser, Melanie Kiser, and Nathan Kiser; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 beginning at Noon at the First Colony Church of Christ, 2140 First Colony Blvd, Sugar Land, TX 77479. Celebration of Life service will begin at 2:00pm, followed by Interment at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, Houston TX.
In lieu of flowers, if you are so inclined, donations may be made in her honor to the Alzheimer’s Association or with the First Colony Church of Christ general fund.
