She was born on October 10, 1941 in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales, United Kingdom, due to the air raids in London during World War II. During the first few years of her marriage she lived in Richmond, England as well as Turin, Italy.
Glenys' story is a love story that begins across the pond. Glenys grew up in England, where she met the love of her life Marco Paul Vaudagna, Sr. (married August 8, 1960). The adventurous pair set off for America, where they started their American dream in St. Louis, Missouri and eventually ended up settling in Houston, Texas where they had many endeavors/beauty salons and started The Rustic Oak Tea Room and Garden.
She loved being with her family, her dogs, Picasso and Moe, a good cuppa tea, collecting English memorabilia, and mostly being a true English lady in all aspects of her life.
Glenys was preceded in death by her parents John "Jack" Edward Belton and Elsie Doreen Powell Belton (2012); brothers Ronnie Belton (2016) and TOmmy Belton (2020); and her husband Marco Paul Vaudagna, Sr. (2005). Together Marco and Glenys are survived by their three children: Marco Paul Vaudagna, Jr. (Wife Kelly), Glenys Monique Vaudagna-Winfiele (husband Jon), and Michael Edward Vaudagna (Wife Myriam); and ten grandchildren: Anastasia Vaudagna-Cook (Husband Airic); Jonathan Winfiele; Christian Vaudagna; Nicholas Vaudagna; William Vaudagna; Marcella Winfiele; Lauren Vaudagna; Andrew Vaudagna; Victoria Vaudagna; and Camila Zuniga as well as four great-grandchildren: Beau Cooper; Airic Cook; Audrey Cook; and Wesley Cook. In addition, Glenys is also survived by her sister-in-law Sheila Belton (Devon, England), various nephews and nieces in England, and her closest friend Irene Croat (Tomball, Texas).
