Lesya Anne-Marie Borysko

LESYA ANNE-MARIE BORYSKO, age 5, of Missouri City, Texas, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on April 3, 2014, at Texas Children’s Hospital, in Houston, Texas. Lesya entered this world on September 13, 2008, in Grapevine, Texas. As the first of twin girls, her struggles with physical and development disabilities were overshadowed by her overwhelming spirit of joy, kindness, and caring. Her smile, beauty, laughter, and determination to overcome the challenges of her life will always be an inspiration to her parents, Michelle and Gregory Borysko; and her three siblings, Matthew (age 8), Kathryn (age 5), and Jonathan (age 4). Lesya received support through her life from all who love her, prayed for her, and guided her physical and mental development. Her many physical, occupational, and speech therapists; her teachers and caregivers; and countless friends and relatives helped to unlock her spirit and brightness, and let it shine on the world.

The parents would like to thank the nurses, doctors, and staff of Texas Children’s Hospital Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for their care and support of Lesya and her family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 7:00 PM, Thursday, April 10, 2014, at St. Angela Merici Catholic Church, 9009 Sienna Ranch Road, Missouri City, with the Rev. John Rooney, Celebrant.
