

Mary Ann Wolfley (McNamara) passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on the evening of December 6th at the age of 78. Mary Ann was born in Pittsburgh, PA. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Catherine McNamara of Pittsburgh, PA and in-laws Harold and Ruth Wolfley of Warsaw, NY and daughter-in-law, Robin June Wolfley.
She graduated from Robert Morris Business College in Pittsburgh, PA and worked as a Legal Secretary until she was hired as a stewardess by United Airlines in 1962. Her domiciles were Ypsilanti, MI and Miami, FL. In 1966 she met Richard Wolfley on a blind date and they were married for 54 loving years. They moved to Baton Rouge, LA and started their family before moving to Buffalo Grove, IL then settling in SugarLand, TX in 1975.
Mary Ann was an animal lover and enjoyed working at Lexington Boulevard Animal Hospital in SugarLand, TX for 13 years. She was a great cook and delighted in sharing her recipes with family members. Mary Ann was revered by her family for her continued support and encouragement for their passions and dreams. Her sense of humor, generosity and kindness will be missed by all.
Mary Ann is survived by her loving husband Richard, and their children Mark (Elizabeth) and Susan Wolfley. Their eight grand children are Steven Swanson, Paige Scates, Ava, Alexis, and Axel Wolfley; Fabrizio, Giovanna and Enzo Zermeno of SugarLand, TX. She is also survived by her older brother John McNamara of La Plata, Maryland and her sister Kathleen McNamara of Benicia, CA.
The hours of visitation will be on Tuesday December 15th from 3pm to 6pm at the Settegast-Kopf Co. @ Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land, TX 77478. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, December 16th at 10am. Tributes and condolences can be shared at www.settegastkopf.com. Interment will be private.
