Michael Mike Edward Werner

Mike proudly served his county in the United States Army, in Vietnam. He enjoyed coaching little league baseball when he and his family were living in Ohio and Florida, before moving to Sugar Land. Mike was a member of the Knights of the Columbus for many years. He was also an active member of St. Laurence Catholic Church, in Sugar Land, where he was a part of the Hospitality Ministry, serving as an Usher, as well as a Faith-based Job Ministry.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents; and his daughter, Erin Werner.

He is survived by his wife, Julienne Werner; children, Jennifer Fernandez and husband Ricardo, Anne Norcross and husband Chad, Matthew Werner and wife Jennifer, Jonathan Werner, and Edward Werner; grandchildren, Javier and Ian Michael Fernandez; sister, Mary Pat Werner; and his aunt, Eileen Nock.

Friends are invited to a visitation with the family from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at The Settegast-Kopf Co. @ Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land (Williams Trace exit), with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, on Thursday, April 4, 2013, at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 3100 Sweetwater Blvd., Sugar Land.
