Raul "Rudy" Santos Rosales

Raul (Rudy) Santos Rosales, born on November 25, 1955, in Evanston, IL, passed away on June 18, 2025, at the age of 69. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be remembered for his sharp wit, laughter, kindness, and warmth.

Raul was a global applications manager, a career that allowed him to touch lives around the world. He was not only dedicated to his work but also deeply cherished the relationships he built with his colleagues.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Liane Rosales, and his daughters, Jessie Hacker (Taber Hacker) and Lindsey Perez (Patrick Perez). He was a proud grandfather to Kyler James Hacker, Mason Jax Hacker, Rose Perez, Mina Draven Perez, and Raiya Thorne Perez. Raul's sisters, Rosie Senica (Tom Senica), Rachael Murphy (Tom Murphy), and Becky Slocum (Bruce Slocum), will remember him for all the love and special bond they shared. His fur babies, Gryffin, Max, Lewis, and Lucid, were an important part of his life. His beloved dog Max was by his side in life and in death.

Raul was preceded in death by his parents, Lupe and Carmel Rosales. His love for his family and friends was evident in every aspect of his life. He enjoyed playing pool, walking his dogs, and being the best husband, father, and papa. His grandchildren were the light of his life, and he held a deep unwavering love for his sisters.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 29, 2025, at The Settegast-Kopf Company@Sugar Creek, located at 15015 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land, Texas, 77478. Friends and family are invited to share stories at 11:30 AM, with the event taking place from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

The family expresses their gratitude to Courtney Meyers and family for giving Max love and comfort in his final moments, as well as friends and neighbors who have shown so much love, respect, and support during this time.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Raul's name can be made to M.D. Anderson and St. Jude for Children. Raul will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
