It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Terri Ann Boyd, 68, on January 30, 2025. Terri was a devoted mother, loving daughter and sister, cherished friend, and dedicated computer programmer whose love and loyalty left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Terri was an avid reader who found joy and solace in the pages of books. Music was a cornerstone of her life, with Jimmy Buffett as her ultimate favorite, filling her days with the warmth of his melodies and the spirit of Margaritaville.
Her faith was the guiding light of her life. Terri dedicated herself to daily Bible study, finding strength and purpose in her relationship with God. Above all, her greatest passion was her family and friends, whom she loved unconditionally and who will carry her memory in their hearts forever.
Terri was preceded in death by her parents John Terry Boyd and Alice Joyce Snow Boyd. She is survived by her daughter Natalie Porter Klesnik, siblings Laura Boyd Coker (Alan Coker), Vivian Boyd White (Dale White), and James Thurman “Buz” Boyd (Crystal Boyd), as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins who will treasure her legacy of faith and love. Her devotion to her loved ones and her unshakable faith in God serves as an enduring inspiration to all who knew her.
A celebration of Terri’s life will be held on February 22, 2025, at 11am (River Road Baptist Church, 3352 Warrior River Rd., Hueytown, AL 35023). In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Terri’s honor to the Alabama Literacy Association (www.alabamaliteracyassociation.com).
Terri’s wisdom and unwavering love will be deeply missed but never forgotten. She now rests in the embrace of her Savior, reunited with loved ones who have gone before her.
