

He was a lifetime resident of Vinton, and a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Allen also played piano in the church band. He loved his family more than anything, and cherished family get togethers. He was a member of the NRA. His hobbies were gardening, and taking care of his animals. Allen will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, William “Bill” Quinn.
Survivors include his loving wife, Laurie Quinn of Vinton; his mother, Jeanette Holland of Vinton; six children, Mandy Gayle Sullenger of Cheroke Village, Ark., Andrew Michael Rothkamm of Beaumont, Texas, Amber Ann Rothkamm of Beaumont, Texas, Amber Lynn Quinn and Donald of Starks, La., Carlie Sue Quinn of Longville, La., and Heather Renee Lively of Starks, La.; a brother, Richard Ray “Ricky” Quinn and wife Regina of Vinton; two sisters, Glenda Sue Landry and husband Tony of Brazoria, Texas, and Sheila Quinn of Vinton; nine grandchildren and one grandchild on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Antioch Baptist Church in Edgerly, La. The Rev. Russell Beard will officiate. Burial will follow in Big Woods Cemetery under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from noon until 9 p.m. on Thursday and 10-11 a.m. on Friday at the church.
