Alton retired as an Industrial Electrician after proudly serving his country during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Army. After retirement, he worked maintenance at a local hotel well up into his 80's. Alton enjoyed camping and spending time with his family and friends.
Alton was preceded in death by son, Timothy "Timmy" LeDoux; parents, Lucien and Lydia LeDoux; brothers, Alvin LeDoux and Edward Lee LeDoux; and a sister, Dorothy Anderson.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, James Christopher LeDoux; three daughters, Barbara Ann LeDoux and Juan, Tammy Elizabeth Hardey and husband, Thomas, and Connie Marie Villemarette and husband, Mack; brother, Kenneth LeDoux; five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. until time of service on Monday, October 11, 2021 at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home.
A Celebration Life Service will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 11, 2021 in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jay Lawson officiating. Burial will follow in Mimosa Pines Cemetery, Carlyss.
