

Bobby, a Crowley native, has resided in Carlyss for 55 years. He was a member of Pipefitters Local 106. Bobby enjoyed the outdoors, especially working cows, farming and bird watching.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Lucille Morrow Cormier; son, Waylon Cormier and wife Wanda of Sulphur; two daughters, Virginia Gail Thibodeaux Heacock and husband Tony of Katy, Texas and Evette Thibodeaux Tull and husband John of Boxite, Arkansas; brother, Herbert Cormier of Port LaVacca, Texas; two sisters, Peggy Moore of DeQuincy and Wilma Fontenot of Welsh; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, V.A. “Black” and Madge Cormier; granddaughter, Chantel Martin; and two brothers, Huiet Cormier and Matthew Cormier.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 26 in First Baptist Church of Sulphur. Dr. David Holder and Rev. Ney Vickers will officiate.
