Carl Duane Floyd

Carl proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. Carl loved his four grand fur babies, Heidi, Grimmy, Bart, and Piggy.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Evelyn Floyd, a son, Alan Duane Floyd, and a great-grandson, Garrett James Espinosa.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Michael Joe Floyd and wife, Tammy and Darrell "Skip" Floyd and wife, Tanya; a daughter, Kelly Jean Hamilton and husband, Cremer; eleven grandchildren, Devin Floyd and wife, Jaclyn, Cade Floyd, Tiffanny Manuel, Timothy Floyd, Bridget Floyd, Carl Hamilton, Tyler Hamilton, Samantha Bolling and husband, James, Amanda Hamilton, Daniel Floyd, and Ashley Floyd; eleven great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Sue Heather; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. until time of service at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2021 in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Chapel. Celebrant, Jody Barrilleaux will lead services. Rev. Wayne Babcock will give his eulogy. Burial will follow in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss.
