

She was a native and lifelong resident of Sulphur. Cheryl was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her companion, Gary Moss of Sulphur; her daughter, Carla Jean Cranfill and husband, Donny of Houston, Texas; her step-children, Michael Glenn Moss and wife, Linda of Sulphur, and Sheryl Chambers and husband, Charlie of Conroe, Texas; two brothers, Vincent "Tootie" Serice of Sulphur and Randall James Serice and wife, Donna of Lake Charles; and her grandchildren, Hally Doucet, Brittney Oxendine, Tyler Hardesty, Jesse Cranfill, Colten Cranfill, Kaitlyn Moss, Steven Chambers, and Lauren Chambers. She is preceded in death by two daughters, Elizabeth Ladel Vaussine and Codrey Ann Hardesty; and a brother, Gary Serice.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 24, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Tom Bruce will officiate. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly.
