

She was a lifelong Sulphur resident. Christine formerly worked at High Hope Care Center and Holly Hill Nursing Home as a CNA. She also worked as a cashier for Speedway. She had passion for paranormal investigating and enjoyed using her handle "Sweetheart" while talking on her CB radio.
Survivors include her husband of 13 years, Robert Hodges; mother, Silver Daigle; three children, Christopher Dean Carter, Meagan Renee Carter and Kevin Richard Carter; four grandchildren, Anastasia, Markus, Elijah and Ezra; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Owens; father and mother-in-law, Jeanne and Edward “Catfish” Vincent.
She is preceded in death by father, Terrace Daigle; paternal grandparents, Amy and Clarence Daigle; maternal grandparents, Jean Johnson and John Melvin Carr; uncle, Richard Allen "T-Neg" Vincent; and aunt, Gaylynn Broussard.
Her funeral will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 17 at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Randall Chesson will officiate.
