Chris attended Sulphur High School and graduated from the Houston Learning Academy. He also attended McNeese State University and has worked in the computer programming field for many years. Chris loved music and composed many original tracks using his guitar, keyboards and computer. Recently he has worked with his father at his car lot, CARS, and was currently employed by Vandrio Software Systems in Lake Charles. He was a member of Life Church in Sulphur.
Chris is survived by his parents, Bert and Linda (Henshaw) Conner of Sulphur and four siblings-Lisa (Conner) Clary of Bossier, LA, Sean Conner of Mandeville, LA, Amy (Bass) Hartley of Lake Charles and Molly (Henshaw) Painter of Lake Charles. Chris has many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins who love him and will miss him very much.
His service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 11 in Hixson Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will be at 3:30 p.m. in Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont, TX. Visitation will be Noon - 1 p.m. Wednesday. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
