Sulphur- Debra Ann Hernandez Sonnier, 59, died Friday, April 22, 2016, in a local care center.
Debra lived in Sulphur most of her adult life. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with family.
Survivors include her mother, Eunice Granger; her brother, Dale Hernandez and wife, Jean of Sulphur; step-sister, Patty King and husband, Gene of Sulphur; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father, J.B. Hernandez; step-father, Edson Granger; and a brother, David Hernandez.
A private memorial service will be held by her family. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The family would like to give special thanks to Carolyn Young and the staff of Lake Charles Care Center, and Tony Hamilton of Harbor Hospice.
