Dennis Ryan Blalock

Dennis Blalock, born January 14, 1952, was a big man with an even bigger heart. Once you got past that rough exterior, you learned he was a big softy to those he loved. And boy did he love! He absolutely adored his wife Mary, whom he married on August 4, 1973, and we can now have peace knowing they’ve been reunited. He was a devoted son to his parents. He was proud of his son Matt and his grandchildren had that big ol’ man wrapped around their little fingers. Dennis found joy in the little things in life, whether he was mowing his lawn, planting vegetables, or just sitting out on the back porch with his dogs. He appreciated the life he was blessed with.

Dennis was a true friend throughout his whole life to whoever was fortunate to become his friend. He never turned his back on his friends or his family. If you needed Dennis, he was there. He was a wonderful husband, son, father, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Visitation for Dennis will be held at Sulphur Hixson Memorial on August 06, 2024, beginning for family only at 9 am with public visitation beginning at 10 am with a service to be held at 11 am. Hixson Celebrant Jody Tyler will lead services.
