Don Juan Phillips Jr.

Don Juan Phillips Jr., 76, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2026 in his residence. He was born in Eunice, Louisiana and later moved to Moss Bluff and Sulphur, Louisiana. He worked and retired from LyondellBasell Petrochemical plant after 30 plus years of service as an operator.

Earlier in life he had his own taxidermy business in Sulphur, Louisiana. His hobbies included fishing and hunting. He always enjoyed grilling up a delicious BBQ for family and friends. For many years he was a Deacon at the Celebration Worship Center where he took pride in the fellowship of the community.

Survivors include two children, Michael Phillips of Sulphur and Heather Phillips of Moss Bluff; one sister, Jewel Cline of Sulphur; along with three nephews and one niece.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Phillips; along with his sister, Carol Tant.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Shriners.
