He was a native of Vinton and had been a resident of Sulphur for nearly 70 years. Donald retired from Citgo after many years of service as a Machinist. He enjoyed working cattle and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his children, Rusty Perry and wife, Peggy of Houston, Texas, Danny Perry and wife, Darla, Cathy Surcouf, and Patti Ellender and husband, Bryant, all of Sulphur; his sister, Jewel Finn of Vinton; fourteen grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his spouses, Evelyn Perry and Elizabeth Perry; a son, Willard Ross Perry; and a sister, Earline Nichols.
A Celebration of Donald's Life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 19, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home, led by Jody Barrilleaux, Celebrant. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday in the funeral home.
