Eladio was a longtime member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. He retired from Westlake Chemical as an Operator. Eladio enjoyed cooking, painting, fishing in his spare time, he loved playing his guitar for family and friends.
Eladio was preceded in death by his father, Eladio Galvan.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Lucy Galvan; mother, Irma Galvan; son, Eladio Galvan; daughter, Celia Galvan and husband, Luis Alejandre; step-daughter, Alejandra Torres and husband, Alan; step-son, Julio Torres and wife, Elena; sister, Rosa Steinhubel and husband, David; nieces, Laura, Leana, and Sarah; sister, Margarita Galvan; special nephews, Victor Herrera and Eladio Herrera; niece, Irma Briones; sister-in-law, Blanca Amaya; brother-in-law, Mario Amaya; six grandchildren, Emiliano Alvarez Galvan, Layla Galvan, Luis Alejandre Galvan, Jose Alejandre Galvan, Aaron Alvarez, and Eva Alvarez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home and will end at 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary beginning at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will resume at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Eladio will be laid to rest at a later date in Mexico.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at Noon on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church with Rev. Edward Richard, M.S. officiating. Cremation was entrusted to Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home.
