Enrique Gomez

Enrique was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and has lived in the Sulphur/Lake Charles area for the past 18 years. He had a passion for Science and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Puerto Rico in Mayaguez. He was presently employed as a dealer for the Isle of Capri Casino.

He is survived by his two daughters, Isabel M. Gomez and Andrea I. Gomez of Sulphur; his former wife and mother of his children, Maria Heal of Sulphur; father, Enrique Gomez of Puerto Rico; and two sisters, Oldy Gomez and Dhalma Gomez of San Juan, Puerto Rico. He is preceded in death by his mother, Iris B. Andreu.

His memorial service and rosary will be 4p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2014 in Hixson Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Aubrey Guilbeau will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until time of service on Thursday.
