Sulphur- Ferdis "Dickie" Terro, Sr. 77, died Sunday, November 26, 2017, in a local care center.
Dickie was a native of Crowley and had been a resident of Sulphur for the last 60 years. He retired from the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury after 28 years of service. He enjoyed collecting guns and coins and taking care of his animals.
Survivors include his children, Tammy O'Quain and husband, PeeWee, Mandie Miller and husband, Danny, Ferdis C. "Bee" Terro, Jr., and Randell Terro and wife, Tammy, all of Sulphur, Marty Terro and wife, Kristi, of Knox, Pennsylvania, and Nick Terro of DeRidder; his daughter-in-law, Olene Terro; thirteen grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Madeline Terro; a son, Milton Anthony Terro; and a great-grandson, Chevy Ray Terro.
