She was a native and lifelong resident of Sulphur. Jeannie was a good-hearted and devoted Christian woman. She owned and operated her own dog grooming business, VIP Grooming, for over 20 years. She loved showing dogs, playing pool, dancing, camping, fishing, watching game shows and bull riding, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Cormier of Sulphur; her siblings, William Timothy "Billy" Howell, Jr. and wife, Charmian of Sulphur, Debra Curry and husband, Steven of Carencro, David Howell and wife, Gail of Sulphur, and Nancy Koonce of New Mexico; her granddaughters, Kailey Morgan and Sahvanna Davis; and great-grandchildren, Isabelle Carter, Lilly Meyers, River Davis, and Dorothy Johnson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Richard Votava; her parents, William Timothy Howell, Sr. and Mavis Hoffpauir Howell Arledge; and siblings, Sharon Babaz and Sandra Howell. She will be fondly remembered by her many extended family members and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held will be held by her family at a later date. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home.
