Jean was a native of Merryville and lived in Westlake for over 20 years. She attended St John Lutheran Church in Lake Charles. Jean enjoyed fishing and gardening.
Survivors include her son, Mark Huse and his wife, Kimmie, of Hackberry; brother, Glen Neely and his wife Norma, of Merryville; and 4 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her son, Randy Huse.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2011, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 8-10 a.m. Wednesday, all in the funeral home.
