She was raised in Westlake and had been a resident of the Sulphur-Lake Charles area for over 50 years. Jeanne coached a girl's softball team many years ago for the Sheriff's League. She enjoyed collecting antiques, crafting and painting, spending time with her family, and taking care of animals.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, James "Mickey" or "Red" Deville of Lake Charles; and her sons, Jeff Deville of Sulphur and Dan Deville of Lake Charles. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Eddie Fair.
Her funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Larry Lafleur will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jeff Deville, Dan Deville, Jason Tallman, John Paul Deville, Alejandro Mejia, Hayden Hagler, Austin Verret, and Joe Runkles. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery North in Sulphur. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday in the funeral home.
