

Jena was born in Beaumont, Texas and graduated from Sulphur High School in 1962. She was a resident of the Sulphur/Lake Charles area for most of her life. She was an avid painter, especially enjoying watercolors and belonged to various art clubs and organizations. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi service sorority and Krewe de La Famille and attended Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church with her husband. Most recently, she began volunteering with Red Cross. She enjoyed life to the fullest and loved painting with her husband, spending time with family, traveling, gardening, and listening to all types of music. Jena's artwork is proudly displayed in many homes of friends and family. She had an ongoing curiosity and desire to improve her painting skills.
Survivors include her husband, James "Jim" Jefferson Price, IV of Lake Charles; her three children, Rusty Trouth, Lisa Trouth Kelly and husband, Carl, and Vikki Trouth Shearman and husband, Paul, all of Sulphur; her step-children, Keith Price of Folsom, Kelley Price of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Susanne Price of Covington; her siblings, Jay Broussard of Rose City, Texas, and Jan Broussard of Vidor, Texas; three grandchildren, John Trouth, Grey Shearman and Foster Shearman; and a step-grandson, Grant Kelly. She is preceded in death by her parents, L.J. and Lorraine Broussard; and her brother, Jody Broussard.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 16, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home led by Jody Barrilleaux, Celebrant. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines South Cemetery in Carlyss. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday in the funeral home.
