Jenell was born on January 2, 1929 in Vinton, LA and lived in Sulphur for 82 years. She was married to Pollet "Bug" Clark, Jr. on March 7, 1946.
Jenell lived for her husband, her children, and her friends. She loved to cook and was especially known for her potato salad, eggplant dressing, and banana fritters. She was also an excellent seamstress. A great lover of music, she composed songs, one of which was professionally recorded. She was also a published poet with numerous poems to her credit. She combined her love for children with her many talents and built life-size playhouses, created elaborate play costumes of Superman or a fairy princess, and made large paper-dolls - making many special memories for her grandchildren.
Above all, Jenell loved the Lord with all her heart. She spent many years teaching Sunday School and home Bible studies.

Carlin of Alexandria, LA; one daughter, Karen Edgerton of Moss Bluff; four sons, Randy Clark of Sulphur, Don Clark of Lake Charles, Ben Clark of Sulphur, and John Clark of Costa Rica; eight grandchildren, Paul Edgerton and wife, Cinde, Sara Baker and husband, Dustin, Rachel Stephens, Courtney Goodwin and husband, Cody, Joseph Clark, Kayleigh Marie Clark, Silas Clark, and Zemira Clark; eight great-grandchildren, Bibiana and Ariana Bravo, Brice and Eli Baker, Maddox Stephens, Corbin Darst, and Leyton and Wesley Goodwin; two special nieces, Beverly Rhodes and Cynthia Stoler; and a special family friend, Pamela Weir.
