

He was a native and longtime resident of Sulphur before moving to Houston, Texas two years ago. He enjoyed playing video games and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Gabrielle Francois of Houston; two children, Maddox McLendon of Sulphur and Mia McLendon of Houston; his mother, Terri McLendon of Vinton; his father, Mark Maronge; three brothers, Andrew Maronge of Hackberry, and Cory Maronge and Tyler Maronge, both of Lake Charles; grandfather, Arvle McLendon of Sulphur; nieces and nephews, Alexis, Trinity, MacKenzie, and Braxton Maronge; aunt, Polly Abrahams; uncle, Paul McLendon and wife, Eva; cousins, Loewen Abrahams, Austin Abrahams, and Marti Cochran; and other aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his niece, Bethanie Maronge; grandmother, Velma McLendon; and sister-in-law, Tiffany Maronge.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 21, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Bobby Taylor will officiate. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly. Pallbearers will be Andrew Maronge, Cory Maronge, Tyler Maronge, Al Francois, Brandon Kiser, and Matthew Fruge. Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday in the funeral home.
