Judy Ailene Gaudet

She had been a resident of Sulphur for over 60 years, coming from DeRidder. Judy was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Sulphur. She enjoyed painting, crafting, cooking, and spending time with her family, who were the most important thing in her life. She was at peace with her passing and is now in the arms of her Lord and Savior.

Survivors include her children, Laura Royer and husband, Larry of Sulphur, Diana Hanchey and husband, Greg of DeRidder, Carla Fontenot and husband, Ronald of Westlake, Pam Abshire and husband, Ray of Sulphur, and Steve Gaudet and wife, Donna of DeQuincy; her sister, Linda Cusimano of Lake Charles; her grandchildren, Dustin Royer, Brittany LeCompte, Ricky Royer, Chris Hanchey, Cody Hanchey, Collin Hanchey, Ronnie Fontenot, Robbie Fontenot, Erin Guillory, Kasey Harper, Mathew Abshire, Morgan Daigrepont, and Sammi Jo Gaudet; and great-grandchildren, Ava Royer, Brayden Harper, Zachary Hanchey, Hailey Estilette, Ronnie and Ruby Fontenot, Carson, Kadie, Paxton, and Stevie Guillory, Charli and Finley Daigrepont, and Cooper Hanchey. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Gaudet; and her siblings, Joyce Miller, Oliver Knox, and Lisa Roark.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 15, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Pastor Lamar Huffman will officiate. Burial will be in Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff.
