Liam Jameson Higgins, entered this world at 8 pounds 9 ounces and 21 inches long on September 21, 2023. He was the first born son of Brittany Ravia and Joshua Higgins joining his three sisters and blending their family together. Liam was a very happy baby, with a huge personality. Encountering numerous battles from the start, he encompassed a sense of strength and inspiration. Those nearest to him drew from his bright disposition and developed a more profound perspective for appreciating those that surround us in life. He allowed his family to experience first hand, that love can overcome even the greatest of fears. On Friday, February 9, 2024 Liam fought his final battle and gained his angel wings.
Left to cherish his beautiful memory are those who surrounded him in life, his mother Brittany, who was his greatest advocate; his father and his absolute favorite person, Joshua; his three sisters who were also his biggest fans, Jessica Elizabeth Ann Higgins, Jodi Elizabeth-Anne Cooper and Lorelei Rose Ravia; maternal great-grandmother, Ann Ravia; paternal grandparents, Rebecca Howell and Robert Higgins; aunt, Whitney Howell; and uncles, Robert Lee Higgins, Justin Jordan, Timothy Jordan, and Dustin Comeaux.
He is preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Annette Ravia; and paternal great-grandparents, James and Lucy Higgins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4 pm on Saturday, February 17, 2024 in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Jeanne Gunter will officiate. Visitation will be on Saturday from 11am until time of service. In lieu of flowers, guests are encouraged to bring stuffed animals.
