Mark Joseph Benoit

He was a life-long resident of Sulphur. He enjoyed fishing, camping and all kinds of video games. He loved various kinds of music and he loved his mom’s cooking.

Mark is survived by his girlfriend, Angelina Collins; his mother, Lisa LeBlanc Bertrand; his father, Ronnie James Benoit and wife Jenna; three sisters, Julie Ochoa and husband Juan of Sulphur, Summer Shrope and husband Bryce of Deridder, Ashley Benoit of Sulphur; two brothers, Jonathon LeBlanc and Wade Bowers of Sulphur; two nephews, Noe Ochoa and Bryan Wilson of Sulphur; 5 nieces, Anna Ochoa, Lily Ochoa, Bella Ochoa of Sulphur, Lyric Shrope and Melody Shrope of Deridder; one aunt, Terri Wood of Sulphur; one uncle, Allen Benoit of Sulphur; his paternal grandparents, Waddy Benoit of Philippines and Goldie Benoit of Sulphur; his godmother, Kim Stanley Wentzel of Sulphur; and a host of friends. Mark was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Clarence Mark LeBlanc.

A Celebration of Service of Mark’s life will be Friday at 10 a.m., December 22, 2017 in the Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Celebrant Jody Barilleaux will lead the Celebration Service. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 -9 p.m. in the chapel and continue on Friday from 8:30 .a.m until time of service. In lieu of flowers the family request monetary gifts.
