He was a life long resident of the Starks area. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his children, David Bussell, and wife Brandi of Fort Worth, Texas, Mark Bussell, Jr. and wife Maggie of Sulphur, Matthew Bussell of Starks, Jocoby Bussell of Edna, Texas, Victoria Bussell and Dillon Bussell of Tyler, Texas,; 5 grandchildren, Briar, Boone, Gauge, Cameron, and Jaxon. He is preceded in death by his parents and a host of loved ones and friends.
His funeral will be at 10am, Wednesday, October 5, in Calvary Apostolic Church in Starks, La. The Rev. Jeremy Shields will officiate. Burial will be in Hyatt Cemetery in Fields, La., under the directions Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home of Sulphur. Visitation will be on Tuesday at 6pm -9pm at the Chapel.
