Matilda Fay English

She was a native of Sulphur and had been a longtime resident of the Dallas, Texas area. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, and loved living life with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Daniel English and wife, Libby of Austin, Texas, Angela Eathorne and husband, Todd of Buda, Texas, Deborah English of Frisco, Texas, and David English of Dallas, Texas; and her three grandchildren, Natalie Scheller and husband, Daniel of Costa Mesa, California, Allison Eathorne and fiance', Tyler Boaz of League City, Texas, and Madison Eathorne of Buda, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Dewey English; her parents, Leonard and Willie Mae Gray; her siblings, Walter Lee Gray and Patsy Jane Burke; and Shirley Ann Gray.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 21, in Big Woods Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
