Mildred lived in Alexandria for a year, and was originally from Sulphur. She was a past member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Lemaire of Youngsville; sons Raymond Lemaire and his wife Marlene of Sulphur, Tony Lemaire and Randy Belshe of Carlyss, Frank and Penny Lemaire of Sulphur, and Dr. Mark Lemaire and his wife Tricia of Alexandria; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Lemaire; parents, Helen and Robert Jabusch, and 11 siblings.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 4, in St Michael Catholic Church of Crowley. The Rev. Gary Schexnayder will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Sunday with a rosary at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
