

Morella has resided in Sulphur for over 40 years and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Sulphur. She loved garage and estate sales. Her children and grandchildren were her life. She will also be remembered for her loving maternal nature, for she was often known as the 2nd Mom to many. Her gift of making others laugh will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Leo Paul Thibodeaux, Sr.; great grandchildren, Jacqueline Dinah Couch and Rayleigh Thibodeaux, her parents, Henry and Aline Rabalais; and siblings, Katherine Rabalais and Rachel Dupont.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Leo Paul Thibodeaux, Jr., Charley John Thibodeaux and wife Amy, Dinah Marie King and husband Lewis, Terance Christopher Thibodeaux, Jennifer Ann Thibodeaux, and Cassundra Ann Hebert and husband Chad; grandchildren, Brandi Romero, Trey Thibodeaux, Charlee Thibodeaux, Tyler Thibodeaux, Hannah Couch, Micah King, Rachel Leger, Nicholas Thibodeaux, Christopher Thibodeaux, Kelli Reggie, Cameron Isherwood, David Isherwood, Jeremy Hebert, Holly Hebert, Hailee Lester and Isaac Hebert; great grandchildren, Kalie Romero, Emleigh Thibodeaux, Kolt Thibodeaux, Kade Romero, Kaleigh Thibodeaux, Joshua Couch, Dane Romero, Garrett Melancon, Bentley Thibodeaux, Kaci King, Savannah Lacey, Joe Lee Romero, Caden Thibodeaux, Bryler Thibodeaux, Leah Leger, Jessie Foreman and Kassidy Reggie; and siblings, Sonia Travasis, Eric Rabalais, David Rabalais, Michael Rabalais, Christopher Rabalais, Darlene Ducote, Eulalie Guillory.
Visitation will be held 4 – 9 pm Thursday, March 27 in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home and resume at the church on Friday 10am until service time. Funeral service will be at 2pm Friday, March 28 in Big Cain Baptist Church of Morrow, Louisiana. Interment will follow in Big Cain Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Lamar Huffman will officiate.
