

She was a native of Lake Charles and was a longtime resident of Sulphur before moving to Kingwood, Texas ten years ago. Roxy enjoyed cooking, fishing, shopping with her daughters, and spending time with her family. She was previously a member of Glad Tidings Church in Lake Charles. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Bill Cook of Kingwood, Texas; her son, Ryan Cook and wife, Samantha of Fairfield, Texas; two daughters, Kari Cook Johnson and husband, Joel, and Jessica Cook House and husband, Ben, all of Kingwood, Texas; two sisters, Pam Babineaux and husband, Gary of Sulphur and Karen Corkran and husband, Kenneth of DeRidder; and two grandchildren, Kate Paislie Johnson and Skylar Rayne Cook. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Peggy Woolman.
Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 11, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Carl Ducat will officiate. Pallbearers will be Stan Czepiel, Steve Aguillard, Johnny Peel, Lee Byrd, Justin Babineaux, Jeff Babineaux, and Honorary Pallbearer will be Dick Casiday. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. until the time of service Thursday in the funeral home.
