Ruby was a native of Southwest Louisiana and lived in Edgerly and Carlyss. She was a lifetime member of Lighthouse Tabernacle of Sulphur. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She truly loved her grandchildren and her church.
Survivors include her son, Thomas Carol LeDoux, Sr., of Sulphur; daughters, Mary Ellen O'Quinn, of Carlyss; Norma Jean Shipp, of Carlyss, and Stella Louise Upton, of Sulphur; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Owen LeDoux; grandson, David O'Quinn; brothers, Curtis Robinson Kenneth Robinson, Jr., and Theron Robinson; and sister, Hattie Grace Robinson.
The family would like to extend their appreciation for all the medical staff that saw to her care.
Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, January 29, in Lighthouse Tabernacle of Sulphur. The Rev. Allan Upton will officiate. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home and from noon until 1 p.m. in the church.
