Susan was a native of Ville Platte and had been a resident of Sulphur for the last 21 years. She was a Special Education teacher for 39 years and retired with the Calcasieu Parish School Board. She enjoyed reading, crafting, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Nicholas Taylor of Sulphur; her children, Monica Taylor of Tampa, Florida, Jennifer Kopetsky and husband, Greg of Arlington, Texas, and Benjamin Taylor of Lake Charles; two sisters, Patricia Billeaudeaux of Sulphur and Elizabeth Bond of Lafayette; and three grandchildren, Tanner, Logan, and Jaxon Simon. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Guillory and Mary Nazel Launey Guillory; and a brother, Wayne Guillory.
