

She was a native of Port Barre and had been a longtime resident of Sulphur. Winnie was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include three sons, Jeffrey Conley of Carlyss, Timothy Conley of Baytown, Texas, and Benjamin Conley and wife, Anna of Sulphur; one daughter, Sarah Conley Burnworth and husband, Russell of Vidor, Texas; brothers, Leo Richard of Port Barre, Knute Richard of DeRidder, Eugene Richard of Highlands, Texas, and Joseph Richard of Sulphur; four grandchildren, Skyy Walker, Nicole Walker, Chelsea Norvell and husband, Trey, and Meghan Sonnier; and Gage Norvell and other great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Watson; a son, Don Walker; brothers, Leonce Richard, John Richard, and Will Richard; and sisters, Lillian DeVille, Amy Bellard, Marie McClean, Judy Nichols, Verna Mae Fruge, and Yonne Thibodeaux
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 20, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 3 p.m. in White Memorial Garden Cemetery in Highlands, Texas. The Rev. Vince Guidry will officiate. Visitation is from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday and from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service Thursday in the funeral home.
