Alton was born on April 27, 1924 in Carbury, North Dakota to Gilbert and Anna Marie Fadness. He was a WWII veteran serving in the U.S. Army from 1943-1946. Alton moved to Arizona in 1953 and worked as a federal high-scaler for the Bureau of Land Management until retiring in 1987.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth. Alton will be missed by his children, Barbara (Ray) Moran and Cheryl Haycock; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Sunland Mortuary in Sun City, AZ.
