

Barbara Jean Agee, age 89, born on June 21, 1925 was called home to her Heavenly Father on May 29, 2015 while surrounded by her family after a brief illness. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who devoted her life to serving the Lord, loving her husband and children, and spoiling her grandchildren. She was a member of the Belleview Heights Church in Sun City. She was truly blessed, and had a high soprano, angelic voice and proudly sang in church choirs for more than 75 years, including numerous solos. She enjoyed playing the piano, reading the bible, writing poetry, teaching Sunday school, doing crossword puzzles, playing miniature golf, and volunteer work.
She was a retired bookkeeper for Agee's Farmers Produce Market, a homemaker, and a friend to all. She was a woman of great faith whose radiant spirit lifted all who were fortunate enough to know her. She always led a Christian life and was the perfect example of warmth, kindness and graciousness. She touched the lives of many people that are forever changed because of her unconditional love, wisdom, nurturing, and inspirational words.
She always was and always will be our precious angel, sent to us from Heaven.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Roy; children, Jeanne Wade, AZ, Roy (Debbie), OH, Douglas (Susan), OH, George (Margie), OH, and Keith, AZ; 13 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren; and many relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Lilly Cummins; twin brother, George; brothers, Lee and John; and a sister, Blanch.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Sunland Mortuary-Lakeside Chapel, 15826 Del Webb Blvd in Sun City, AZ. Visitation will be held on Thursday from noon-1 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow at Sunland Memorial Park-Garden of Valor.
