Berthold Hermanski

Berthold was born in Kroplainen, East Prussia to Anton and Hedwig Hermanski on 11/21/1931. He married Gertrude Hoeckendorff on 7/18/1953 in Denver, CO. They were married 65 years. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War; served in the United States Army and was awarded the Bronze Star. He served his country honorably for 24 years retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer Grade 3.

Berthold is preceded in death by his parents Anton and Hedwig Hermanski; as well as his brother Tony Hermanski.

Berthold is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Gertrude and his two children Burt and Edward Hermanski; his two daughter-in-law’s Nicole and Christina Hermanski; his three Grandsons Andrew Hermanski, Justin Hermanski (Justin’s wife Kim Hermanski) and David Dominguez; his two Great Grandsons Hunter Hermanski and Dylan Dominguez; his brothers Horst Hermanski and Fred Hermann and his sister Annelise Butterwegge.

Berthold enjoyed sports, especially golf and football. He was also an avid reader. Above all he enjoyed spending time with his family. It goes without saying he loved his two boys Burt and Edward and he immensely loved being with his Grandsons and Great Grandsons, but above all he loved his loving wife of 65 years Gertrude. She was the love of his life and as he always told all of us, she was an angel sent down from God.
