She was born July 25, 1937 in Fillmore, Ca. Her father moved the family to Glendale, Az. in 1941 due to the war. She & sister, Georgia, attended Glendale Grammar School (now Glendale Elementary), which their grandfather was previously involved with the construction of.
Beverly continued her education at Glendale High School., where she discovered her joy of singing. During this time, she & 2 friends formed a trio called “The Glenettes”.
After high school, she married Richard (Dick) Borders & had 2 children, Beth and Daniel Borders. Beverly spent years being an awesome homeroom mother for her kids’ classes, being a talented seamstress & driving groups to outings for Beth’s Girl Scout Troop.
When the kids were in high school, she found herself single again. She opened an alterations shop & sub-let the front portion for sales of collectables in downtown Glendale. It was there that one of the customers became the love of her life. In conversations, they discovered they both had a love for singing & Nascar & they became “Music Expression”. They entertained around the valley for 20 years. Sadly, she lost Gary in 2020 & it broke her heart. She was really never the same after that.
She is survived by daughter Beth (Greg) Skelton, son Daniel Borders, sister Georgia (Simon) Houck, niece Paula (Russ) Driver, 3 grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren. She has now joined Gary for their next adventure & singing their hearts out.
