Carol Jean Punscak Rasor Curtis, 67, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2013, in California from breast cancer. She was born April 24, 1945 in Warren, Ohio. Carol was the daughter of Ben and Jean Spencer. Carol graduated from Warren G. Harding High School and she attended Kent State and Youngstown State Universities.
Carol moved from Ohio to Arizona, in 1984 and then lived in Temecula California until her death. She is survived by her mother, Jean Spencer of Surprise, Arizona; her son Marc (Julie) Rasor of Phoenix, daughter Cindy (Jim) Shively of Carefree, Arizona, and son Jeramy Curtis of Temecula, California; brother Jeff (Helen) Spencer of Cortland, Ohio; four grandchildren, Amanda and Rachael Shively, Ashlyn and Jason Rasor; Aunt, Charlotte Humphrey; and Neice, Bethany Spencer.
Carol was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Spencer; Uncle Raymond Humphrey; and nephew Matthew Spencer.
The family requests that contributions be made in Carol's name to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer fund. A private service will be held April 20, 2013. Burial arrangements under the direction of Sunland Memorial Park, Mortuary & Cremation Center.
