She is survived by her children Jennifer Lucas (Linda) of New Castle, IN, Amy Lucas (Tom) of Berea, KY Dan Evans (Shannon) of Surprise, AZ and Rebecca Pabst (Allen) of Independence, KY her 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren with 2 on the way.
Carol would sneak to Moonlight Gardens to dance and spent summers sunbathing at Coney Sunlite Pool. She loved to cruise and did so to many fabulous places with her brother and sister in law, family and friends. She attended many performances of the Nutcracker Ballet and The Transiberian Orchestra’s Christmas, along with her favorite, Andrea Bocelli. Carol also loved to attend Broadway shows with the Phantom of the Opera being her favorite! She was a lover of pets and along with her many Schnauzers her last dog Mac passed away before her move to AZ. Her cats Kit Kat and Jiggs stayed with family in KY when she moved.
At her request, a celebration of life will be held in both Arizona & Kentucky. The KY celebration will be on Thursday, August 22nd (so everyone can celebrate her 90th birthday) at St. Luke Lutheran Church 4800 Alexandria Pike Cold Spring, Ky. Visitation from 4pm - 7pm, service and reception to immediately follow. Carol loved flowers, but she also loved animals, so donations can be made in lieu of flowers to your local animal shelter.
