Carolyn Ann Seward

Carolyn A. Seward, 84, of Surprise Arizona, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Charles D Seward; children: Cliff (Linda) Seward of Naperville IL, William “Bill” Seward of Idaho Falls ID; brother, Steve Patarozzi of Phoenix AZ and sister-in-law, Jean Patarozzi of Springfield, IL; loving grandmother of Sarah (Nicki) Rinaldi, Rachel (Jeremy Spaccapaniccia) Seward, Adam (Katie) Seward and Natalie Seward; 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Carolyn was preceded in death by her brother; Frank Patarozzi; sister-in-law, Judy Patarozzi and her parents, Attilio and Ann Patarozzi.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 from 10-11 am with a funeral service starting at 11am at Sunland Memorial Park, Mortuary and Cremation Center, 15826 Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, AZ 85351, internment will follow the service.

Carolyn was born in Chicago, IL. She attended Bowen High School where she met the love of her life, Charles. They married in November, 1956, raised their family in Lansing, IL and retired to Surprise, AZ in 1999. Carolyn worked as a book keeper for the 1st National Bank of Lansing.

Carolyn will always be remembered for her love of bringing her family together through her cooking and family meals. She loved to knit and crochet, making special items for those she treasured.
