Catherine May Henry, 94, of Brandywine Drive, Sun City West, AZ, passed away on July 18, 2025. Born on July 13, 1931 in Leetown, West Virginia, Catherine was the daughter of the late Ada and Charles Shaull. She was a loving wife and mother and took great pride in her family and home. In 1969 Catherine and her beloved husband, John T. Henry settled in Arizona after years of traveling the world and country while John served in the Air Force. Catherine dedicated over 30 years to Civil Service and finished her career working at Luke Air Force Base. She was an avid Arizona Diamondback fan, and she loved attending Spring Training games. She was an accomplished seamstress and crafter. Her home reveals a lifetime of beautiful projects. She loved keeping busy and spent countless hours working crossword puzzles and reading.
Catherine was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, John, who passed away in 2023. She is survived by her two children, Donna Patrick and Thomas Henry; her sister, Esther Shaull, her brother, Charles Shaull; and her two granddaughters, Stefany and Kathryn Patrick.
Catherine will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Veterans Memorial Cemetery on August 25th, 2025.
