David Leon Graham

David Leon Graham, 61, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2014. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 31, at Sunland Memorial Park Mortuary, 15826 Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, AZ 85351. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service on Friday at Sunland.

David was born on August 17, 1953 in Mesa, Arizona to Leon and Vivian Graham. He entered the U.S. Navy on July 31, 1972 and was honorably discharged on July 30, 1975. He graduated from Glendale High School in 1971 and married Vickie Ann Bowman on December 30, 1972. On February 2, 1973, David and Vickie welcomed their son, Brian Allen Graham.

David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1978 from ASU and began work at Napa Auto in 1979 until his retirement in April 2001. David became a father-in-law to Tonya Sadler on April 28, 2001; grandfather (PopPop) on January 24, 2004 to his first granddaughter, Stephanie Ann Graham, and on February 5, 2007, he became PopPop to his second granddaughter, Lindsay Nichole Graham.

David was a sports lover. His favorite hobby was four-wheeling in the desert with Vickie. He loved to take Stephanie on the quads and both grand girls on nature walks. He was an adventurous food connoisseur with one of his favorite past times being brewing and drinking coffee.

David was a longtime member of Northwest Valley Church of Christ.
