Dorothy Mae Wyant, 86, of Sun City, Arizona died Saturday, September 1st. She was born November 3, 1925 as Elizabeth to biological parents, Andrew and Mae Waye of Crown Point, IN. She was one of twelve siblings. Due to hardships, she was adopted by the late Ralph and Mary Goslee of Lake County, IN at the age of four. She married Claude Wyant on November 2, 1942. They were married for 55 years and were also blessed with their adored daughter, Mary Eileen. She is preceded in death by her husband and daughter. Dorothy was an active member of Lakeview United Methodist Church, who enjoyed scrabble and outings with friends. Dorothy is survived by son-in-law, Larry Elliott and grandchildren, Hayli Alexander, Jason and Jerrod Elliott. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, all of Palm Desert, CA. Niche side services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 18th, at Sunland Memorial Park and Mortuary in Sun City.
