Born to Polish immigrants Thomas and Alexandria Muzyczek in Rockford, Illinois. She went on to marry her highschool sweetheart of 66 years Robert (Knobby) Walsh (preceded in death). After having 3 of their 5 children, Michael (preceded in death) (Susie), Catherine (Bob Doerr), Michele (Billy Steigerwaldt). Her doctor advised them to move to a drier state for her asthma. They packed up and made the move to Arizona, not knowing anyone there, where Therese and Colette (Bob Sicina) were born. She was blessed with 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, sister-in-law Patricia Sheehan and many nieces and nephews. After her youngest started school, she joined the workforce by first working at Yellow Front/ Checkers corporate office, and then ending up at Circle K's corporate office.
She was a caring and giving individual always filling her spare bedroom with food, toys, clothes and blankets to give to the less fortunate. She even had her neighbours bringing her blankets they found at estate sales.
Recently , not able to go out shopping herself, it didn't stop her selflessness, having her daughters doing her leg work and keeping her legacy alive. Mom will always be remembered for her saying "I can do it!"
