Gerald Vernon Patek

Gerald V. Patek, 89, of Sun City, AZ passed away into the arms of the Lord on February 3, 2016. Gerald was born on July 31, 1926 in Milwaukee, WI to Stanley and Frieda Patek. Gerald was a Veteran and served in the United States Coast Guard. He was also a Pharmaceutical Research Engineer. After his retirement he enjoyed traveling, gardening, and working on puzzles. He loved all animals especially dogs. He will be loved and missed always. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dorothy Patek, his wonderful parents, his amazing brother, Daniel Patek, his loving son, Bruce “Pat” Patek and his last furry companion and faithful dog, Bailey. Gerald is survived by; lovely daughter-in-law, Joanne Patek; loving granddaughter, Tracie Rodgers and husband (grandson-in-law) Jeff Rodgers; loving granddaughter, Shilene Patek; two great grand pets, Miles and Buck; dear bonus great grandson, Jordan Rodgers; lovely sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Joyce and Fred Brehmer; niece, Amy (Nate) Bratlie and Valerie Koralewski; nephew, Steve (Jen) Brehmer; three great nieces; Madison and Kaitlynn Bratlie and Harper Brehmer; two great nephews, Jamison “Jamey” and Declan Brehmer.
